A language school has to reassure before convincing.
Swiss Language Academy teaches French to adults. Mostly for the fide exam and for naturalisation. We repositioned the site from the management's brief: real French pages, clear routes to the courses and the level tests, contact forms, structured data and consistency with the Google listing.
The project in detail
The context
Swiss Language Academy teaches French to adults in French-speaking Switzerland. Two clearly identified audiences: people preparing the fide exam, and people building a naturalisation file. The old site spoke to everyone. So to no one.
The problem to solve
A language school has to reassure first. Who teaches. With which certifications. For which level. At what price. And what happens after you sign up. Until those answers are visible, nobody fills in a form — least of all for an administrative step where a permit or a naturalisation is at stake.
What we built
A full website in French and English, rebuilt from the management's brief. A real page for each route: intensive courses, fide preparation, DELF and DALF, coaching. The European framework levels explained plainly. The school's certifications. And a short form at every step.
The technical detail
The French version has its own folder, so Google indexes it separately from the English one. The courses and the school are described in structured data. The forms are checked server-side. And the information on the site matches the Google listing exactly.
The outcome
A website delivered in 3 weeks, which explains the path before asking for anything, and which takes a new session or a new price without breaking, in a single request.

What this project taught us.
Reassuring comes before selling
When a residence permit or a naturalisation is at stake, the school’s accreditation and the detail of the course matter more than any sales pitch.
One language, one directory
The French version lives at its own address rather than inside an automatic translator: it is the only way to be found on French-language searches.
A short form at every step
A visitor ready to write should never have to scroll back up to find where.
Name the paths by goal
A candidate is not looking for “level B1”: they are looking to get a permit, pass an interview, have a file approved. The pages are named after what they want to achieve, not after the framework.
A school is chosen on evidence
Certifications, the European framework explained plainly, exam conditions: that is what turns a visit into a trial request. Long before the style of the photos. Someone with a residence permit at stake reads the evidence before looking at the pictures. And that is what they compare two schools on. The 6 levels of the European framework are explained in one sentence each, because one visitor in two has no idea where they stand.
